Tex-Mex at Cantina Laredo (@CantinaAustin).

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants — even if they are small chains. Cantina Laredo es sabroso! It's not the best or the cheapest in town — but, it is enjoyable. I have yet to have a poor meal or slow service here. This time, we ordered the enchiladas de avocado which were stuffed with avocado + artichokes and smothered in tomatillo sauce on top of a bed of spinach ($10) and the enchiladas de mole — not the thick, bitter mole and it did not have an overwhelming chocolate flavor — served with a side of rice ($13).
