On arrival @FiveLeavesNY (food pics).

Greenpoint's Five Leaves' is extremely legit and affordably priced for such outstanding quality. Plus, the outdoor seating was wonderful with a super attentive waiter named, Harry.

We split an order of their devils on horseback ($7), the cooked to perfection marinated hanger steak ($18) with their aromatic truffle fries ($2 upcharge), watercress + a tomato horseradish cream. Washed it all down with two specialty cocktails ($11 each): Southern Belle (sweet tea vodka, lemons, mint + sparkling wine and the Lechuga Diablo with bourbon, guava puree, honey, lime, chipotle, topped off with cerveza. Instead of dessert, we finished off the evening with a walk through McCarren Park.
