Montezuma, Costa Rica: Cena en la playa @ Cocolores.

Six years ago, when we first visited Costa Rica, Cocolores was our introduction to dining in Montezuma. An extremely tan, but sweet, woman named, Benita owned the restaurant. And since then, the ownership has changed, but the quality food has not. Aqui en Costa Rica, tienen costumbre decir "Pura Vida!" para todo lo bueno. Asi que...pura vida!

For starters, each couple had ceviche with homemade bread (3500 CRC = $ 6.90) and a small house salad. Four of us dined on a whole, pan fried seabass (5000 CRC = $9.80); Laura ordered spaghetti with clams and fish in white wine (7500 CRC = $14.80); Tristan + Marissa had pan fried squid in garlic (4500 CRC = $8.87); and I had the India style coconut + raisin chicken served with brown rice, a mango chutney, and veggies (5500 CRC = $10.85).
